Pre-Authorisation Process
Step 1
Show Your eCard
Present your Good Health TPA eCard or GoodHealth app digital eCard at the hospital's TPA/insurance desk on admission.
Step 2
Hospital Submits Pre-Auth
The TPA desk submits the pre-auth request with diagnosis, treatment plan, and estimated cost to Good Health TPA via their portal or the digital pre-auth system.
Step 3
Good Health TPA Approves
Planned admissions: approved within 24 hours. Emergencies: within 1-2 hours (IRDAI mandated). Approval is sent directly to the hospital and visible in your GoodHealth app.
Step 4
Cashless Discharge
At discharge, the hospital submits the final bill to Good Health TPA. Discharge approval typically takes 1-2 hours after the final bill is submitted.
